Rush 2013

A long overdue blog update on Rush!

This year, the Active Chapter had a huge interest in Rush, and did a ton of exciting events. Cheryl A., Tandra, and myself were able to attend the Tight 'n Bright bowling.We're shown here in our family tree - 7 generations of family in one photo.

Rush also included the Alumnae Dinner - 27 women attended this year, with Heather R. and myself representing the Alumnae. In future years, we will have to look at hosting the event in an event space, the group is getting so large. The girls enjoyed going over the yearbooks, and had lots of questions about events we'd held in the past. The bios people sent me were well-read and inspiring to the active chapter and pledges - a nice look at the family they will be joining.

Rush ultimately led to fifteen new pledges! I'm pleased to report that the active chapter is growing, with girls across both the UNBC campus and the CNC campus. I'm also pleased to report that the Persephone Branch of the family tree was resurrected with this latest group of initiates!
